Welcome to the Lender website for the Help to Buy: mortgage guarantee scheme. The Scheme launched fully on 2 January 2014, it aims to increase the supply of higher loan to value mortgages to credit worthy borrowers by giving Lenders the option to purchase a Government guarantee on mortgages to borrowers of 80% to 95% of the property value.
